Sterex Electrolysis
Sterex is a form of electrolysis, using a very fine probe to deliver electrical energy directly to individual hair follicles. Unlike laser and IPL it can treat individual hairs regardless of their colour, which makes it particularly useful for lighter, white or grey hairs that do not respond well to light-based treatments.
Ideal for: individual hairs, resistant hairs and lighter, white or grey hairs.

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference.
Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available.
I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to others and whilst I can only comment on the treatments I have received to date I will be availing myself of some of the others services offered.

I am so glad I visited the Changes Clinic today for an upper abdominal ultrasound. I was a nervous wreck as I have a bit of a phobia of scans & Andrea was just brilliant with me. Common questions
How long does IPL or laser hair treatment last?
After two treatments you are likely to see hair reduction. Over time, multiple cycles will eliminate the follicle from growing completely. It's surprising how quickly you can notice the difference. Once it's gone, it's gone. And once it's gone, you'll be left with beautifully smooth skin.
How many sessions?
A session will be required every 4-6 weeks to catch each cycle of your hair growth. Only hair that is actively growing can be removed so multiple treatments are needed. The number of required sessions can vary from person to person but typically 6-12 is recommended for optimal results. Satisfaction is achieved when all hair growth has been eliminated
Which laser hair removal is besT?
Many choices are available in the UK market, and can vary depending on the machine and power output. Depending on hair & skin type, we could use IPL, Laser or Sterex for permanent hair reduction. Our equipment for Laser & IPL is a Lynton Lumina permanent hair reduction machine. This is NHS approved and quality kit meaning you may need less treatments to remove your hair than some other equipment
