What Is Permanent Makeup (PMU) & Microblading?
Permanent Makeup (PMU) is a form of micropigmentation that enhances or restores natural features by implanting pigment into the skin. Microblading, a specialised PMU technique, creates ultra-fine strokes that mimic real eyebrow hairs for a fuller, natural look.
At Changes Clinic, we offer both machine-based PMU and hand-tool microblading to ensure the best technique is used for your desired results.

What our clients say
Common questions
What is the difference between Microblading and Permanent Makeup?
Both techniques implant pigment into the skin, but microblading uses a handheld tool for hair-like strokes, while PMU uses a machine for shading and definition.
How long does Permanent Makeup last?
Results typically last between 1–5 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. A touch-up is recommended every 12–18 months for maintenance.
Is Permanent Makeup painful?
A numbing cream is applied before the procedure to ensure comfort. Most clients report only mild discomfort.
Can you fix old or faded PMU?
Yes! We specialise in PMU correction and removal, using laser or saline techniques to lift old pigment and professionally reapply it.
How long does it take to heal?
Healing usually takes 7–14 days, with full results visible after 4–6 weeks. A touch-up session is often recommended after healing.
Can PMU help with scars or after a mastectomy?
Absolutely. Medical tattooing can camouflage scars or restore the appearance of the areola and nipple after surgery.
