Fat dissolving injections break down localised pockets of fat using a synthetic compound (deoxycholic acid) injected directly into the target area. The process triggers fat cell destruction, and the body then clears the debris through its lymphatic system over several weeks. This is a medical procedure, and it warrants a medical assessment.

What we treat

Fat dissolving injections target stubborn areas of localised fat that have not responded to diet or exercise. Common treatment areas include the double chin (submental fat), bra strap area, inner thighs, abdomen, flanks and upper arms. Results are gradual, appearing over 4 to 8 weeks as the body removes broken-down fat cells.

Most clients require 2 to 4 sessions to reach their target result, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart. The number of sessions depends on the size of the area being treated and the individual response.

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference. Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available. I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to others and whilst I can only comment on the treatments I have received to date I will be availing myself of some of the others services offered.

I am so glad I visited the Changes Clinic today for an upper abdominal ultrasound. I was a nervous wreck as I have a bit of a phobia of scans & Andrea was just brilliant with me.
