Fat dissolving injections break down localised fat cells beneath the skin using a solution injected directly into the treatment area. The process at Changes Clinic follows three clear stages.
Step 1 — Your Free Consultation
Your qualified, experienced & insured practitioners assess the areas you want to target and reviews your medical history. Fat dissolving works on localised pockets of fat, not general weight loss, and your practitioner confirms whether the areas you are concerned about are suitable for this treatment. We also discuss how many sessions you are likely to need and what realistic results look like.
Step 2 — Your Treatment
On treatment day, your qualified, experienced & insured practitioners cleans and marks the treatment area. Multiple small injections deliver the fat-dissolving solution into the targeted fat layer. Sessions take around 30 to 45 minutes. The area may feel warm and firm immediately after treatment, which is normal.
Step 3 — Your Results
Your body breaks down and removes the treated fat cells over the following four to eight weeks. Most clients need two to four sessions spaced around four to six weeks apart. I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference.
Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. The redness in my face has reduced so much, and even when I do get a flare up, it’s nowhere near as bad as it used to be because the underlying redness has improved so much.

I have had 2 treatments so far and I already see a difference in my hair density and texture. She can use a gun or syringe, the syringe goes deeper and achieves better results, so its worth asking for the syringe method.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available.
I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to others and whilst I can only comment on the treatments I have received to date I will be availing myself of some of the others services offered.

I am so glad I visited the Changes Clinic today for an upper abdominal ultrasound. I was a nervous wreck as I have a bit of a phobia of scans & Andrea was just brilliant with me. What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first appointment is a free clinical consultation. Your qualified, experienced & insured practitioners examine the areas you want to target, assesses your skin quality and the nature of the fat deposits, and discusses your goals. We outline a realistic treatment plan, including how many sessions we anticipate and what results you can reasonably expect. There is no pressure to book treatment on the day.
Am I a suitable candidate for fat dissolving?
Fat dissolving works best on localised pockets of fat rather than widespread weight gain. Suitable candidates are at or near their healthy weight with specific areas of stubborn fat that have not responded to diet and exercise. Treatment is not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and is not suitable for clients with certain medical conditions affecting fat metabolism. Your qualified, experienced & insured practitioners confirms suitability at consultation.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer Klarna, which lets you spread the cost of treatment across three equal monthly payments with no interest. Klarna is available at booking for any treatment at Changes Clinic.
