Does fat dissolving actually work?

Fat dissolving injections have gained a mixed reputation. Part of that is down to the variety of providers offering them, ranging from trained medical professionals to beauty therapists with a two-day course. When the treatment is administered without proper assessment and technique, results are inconsistent and the risk of side effects increases.

The active ingredient in fat dissolving injections is deoxycholic acid, a substance the body produces naturally to break down dietary fat. When injected precisely into a localised fat deposit, it disrupts the cell membrane of the fat cells in that area. The body then processes and removes those cells over several weeks. The treatment is not designed for weight loss. It works on small, defined areas that are resistant to diet and exercise, such as the chin, jowls, inner thighs and abdomen.

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah.
