HIFU at a medical-device clinical standard
The assessment matters more than many clients expect. HIFU works at different tissue depths, and the settings used depend on your skin thickness, the degree of laxity present, and the specific areas being treated. A clinical assessment gives us the information to configure the device correctly for your skin. Applying HIFU at the wrong depth, or in areas where it is contraindicated — around bony structures, over active skin conditions, or on clients with certain implanted devices — can cause complications. Our clinical practitioners know how to avoid them.
We also discuss realistic outcomes at the consultation. HIFU produces a gradual result as new collagen forms over the weeks following treatment. The outcome is a lift and tightening of the skin, not a surgical-level repositioning of tissue. Most clients see their best results at 3 months. We are clear about this before any commitment is made.

What we treat
HIFU is most effective for clients who are beginning to notice laxity but have not yet reached a stage where the degree of tissue descent would require a surgical approach. Your practitioner will advise at the consultation whether HIFU is appropriate for your skin and goals, or whether a different or additional treatment would better serve you.
