Laser hair removal involves directing concentrated light energy into hair follicles to disrupt their ability to produce new hair. At Changes Clinic, our practitioners hold VTCT Level 4 qualifications in laser and light treatments. This is the recognised clinical qualification for this type of work. We operate diode and Nd:YAG lasers, not IPL (intense pulsed light) devices. IPL is a broad-spectrum light source that many salons use because it is cheaper and easier to operate. Lasers deliver a precise wavelength targeted specifically at the melanin in hair follicles, producing more consistent results and a better safety profile across different skin tones.

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference. Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available.
