Your first appointment is a clinical assessment. Our VTCT Level 4 qualified, experienced & insured practitioner reviews your skin tone, hair colour and the areas you want to treat. We confirm which laser technology is most appropriate for you and set out a realistic session plan.
Step 2 — Your Treatment
Treatment takes place at our CQC-registered clinic at 1000 Lakeside, Cosham, Portsmouth. We use diode and Nd:YAG laser technology — not IPL devices. These are clinical-grade lasers that target hair follicles precisely, reducing regrowth with each session. Most sessions take 15 to 60 minutes depending on the area.
Step 3 — Your Results

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference.
Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. The redness in my face has reduced so much, and even when I do get a flare up, it’s nowhere near as bad as it used to be because the underlying redness has improved so much.

I have had 2 treatments so far and I already see a difference in my hair density and texture. She can use a gun or syringe, the syringe goes deeper and achieves better results, so its worth asking for the syringe method.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available.
I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to others and whilst I can only comment on the treatments I have received to date I will be availing myself of some of the others services offered.

I am so glad I visited the Changes Clinic today for an upper abdominal ultrasound. I was a nervous wreck as I have a bit of a phobia of scans & Andrea was just brilliant with me. What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first appointment is a free consultation with one of our VTCT Level 4 qualified, experienced & insured practitioners. We assess your skin tone, hair type and the areas you want to treat, then put together a session plan that fits your hair growth cycle. You leave with a clear picture of the number of sessions likely needed and what results to expect.
Am I a suitable candidate for laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal works best on clients with a contrast between their hair colour and skin tone, but our Nd:YAG laser extends effective treatment to darker skin tones too. The treatment is less effective on very fair, grey or red hair. It is not suitable during pregnancy. Our practitioner will confirm your suitability and set realistic expectations at consultation.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Klarna is available at Changes Clinic, allowing you to split the cost of your treatment into 3 monthly payments at 0% interest. You can apply this to individual sessions or a course — speak to us at booking.
How far is Changes Clinic from Basingstoke?
