How a Non-Surgical Facelift Works at Changes Clinic
A non-surgical facelift combines two clinically proven technologies: HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) and RF microneedling. The process at Changes Clinic runs in three clear stages.
Step 1 — Your Free Consultation
Your qualified, experienced & insured practitioners assess your skin, discusses the concerns you want to address and recommends the right combination of treatments. Some clients benefit from HIFU alone, others from RF microneedling or a combination. We tailor the plan to your skin condition and your goals.
Step 2 — Your Treatment
Treatment takes place at our CQC-registered clinic at 1000 Lakeside, Cosham, Portsmouth. HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production at depth in the skin tissue. RF microneedling delivers radiofrequency energy through fine needles to trigger collagen remodelling closer to the surface. Sessions vary in duration depending on the areas treated and the combination used.
Step 3 — Your Results
Collagen production is a gradual process. Most clients see initial improvement within 4 to 6 weeks and the full benefit at 3 months as new collagen matures. Results typically last 12 to 18 months. I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference.
Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. The redness in my face has reduced so much, and even when I do get a flare up, it’s nowhere near as bad as it used to be because the underlying redness has improved so much.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available.
I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to others and whilst I can only comment on the treatments I have received to date I will be availing myself of some of the others services offered.

I am so glad I visited the Changes Clinic today for an upper abdominal ultrasound. I was a nervous wreck as I have a bit of a phobia of scans & Andrea was just brilliant with me. Your first appointment is a free consultation with our qualified, experienced & insured practitioners. We look at your skin, talk through what is bothering you and explain which treatment or combination is likely to produce the best result for you. You will leave understanding what the treatment involves, what results are realistic and what the aftercare looks like.
Am I a suitable candidate for a non-surgical facelift?
Most adults with mild to moderate skin laxity, loss of jawline definition or surface texture concerns respond well to HIFU and RF microneedling. The treatment suits clients who want meaningful improvement without the downtime of surgery. It is not suitable during pregnancy or for those with certain skin conditions, implanted medical devices or active infections in the treatment area. Your qualified, experienced & insured practitioners will confirm suitability at consultation.
