It is simply making a small incision in the affected area (eg the veins in the legs), the blood flow is stemmed and the vein is removed. Recovery is quick, with some slight swelling afterwards. To ensure blood circulation and healing and to reduce bruising, you will be required to wear compression stockings after your surgery.
