About Permanent Makeup
Permanent makeup (also known as cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation) implants pigment into the upper layers of the skin to create defined, lasting results that replicate the look of carefully applied makeup. At Changes Clinic, our permanent makeup technicians work to a precise, natural-looking standard.
We offer:
Eyebrows — including microblading (hair-stroke technique), powder brows and combination brows. We map the brow shape to your facial structure before we begin and agree the shape and colour with you at every stage.
Eyeliner — upper lash line definition, lower lash line, or both. Results range from a natural lash-enhancement look to a defined liner finish.
Lip blush — pigment applied to the lips to add definition, colour and the appearance of fullness. This is not the same as lip filler; it is a colour and definition treatment that softens the lip border and adds warmth.
Results are semi-permanent. Most treatments last between one and three years depending on skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure. A top-up appointment is typically recommended six to eight weeks after the initial session as the pigment settles.

What Our Clients Say
Common Questions
How far is Changes Clinic from Eastleigh?
Changes Clinic is at 1000 Lakeside, Cosham, Portsmouth — around 20 to 25 minutes from Eastleigh via the M27. Free parking is available on site at no charge.
How many sessions will I need?
Most permanent makeup treatments involve two appointments: the initial session and a top-up six to eight weeks later. The top-up is important because pigment lightens and settles as the skin heals, and small adjustments to shape or colour are easier to make once the initial healing is complete. Some clients are happy with the result after the first session alone.
Is there any downtime after permanent makeup?
The treated area will appear darker and slightly swollen for the first few days. This is normal and expected. The pigment will soften and lighten as healing progresses over seven to fourteen days. We advise keeping the area dry and avoiding makeup over it during the healing period. After the skin has healed, the colour softens to its true settled tone.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first appointment is a free consultation where we discuss the treatment you are interested in, review your skin tone and natural features, and map out the proposed shape or line. We agree on colour and technique together before anything is applied. If you are happy to proceed, treatment can begin in the same appointment for most permanent makeup services.
