What we treat

We offer permanent makeup for the brows, eyes, and lips. Our brow services include microblading (hair-stroke technique), ombre powder brows, and combination brows. For the eyes, we offer lash enhancement liner and top eyeliner. For the lips, we offer lip blush — a technique that adds natural-looking definition and a wash of colour.

Each treatment uses semi-permanent pigment that gradually fades over time, which allows for adjustments as your preferences change. A top-up appointment at 6 to 8 weeks is standard after your initial treatment to refine the result once the skin has healed.

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference. Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available. How far is Changes Clinic from Gosport?

Changes Clinic is at 1000 Lakeside, Cosham, Portsmouth. From Gosport the drive is around 15 to 20 minutes, heading north via the A32 through Fareham and then east on the A27 to Cosham. Free parking is available at the clinic.

Is a consultation required before permanent makeup?

Yes. The consultation is where we agree the design with you before any pigment is applied. For brows, we spend time mapping the shape against your facial features and agreeing the colour. For lips, we assess your natural lip shape and discuss the degree of definition and colour saturation you want. We do not begin treatment until you are fully happy with the proposed design. This session can also serve as a patch test appointment to confirm there is no adverse pigment reaction.

How long does permanent makeup last?

Most clients find their permanent makeup lasts between 1 and 3 years before it fades enough to warrant a colour refresh. Longevity depends on your skin type (oily skin tends to fade faster), how much sun exposure the treated area gets, and the pigment colours used — lighter colours fade more quickly than deeper shades. A top-up session at 6 to 8 weeks after your initial treatment is recommended to refine the result once the skin has healed.
