Calecim with microneedling

A microneedling device creates fine channels in the skin, and the Calecim serum is applied directly into them. This carries the active ingredients past the outer skin barrier and into the dermis, where collagen production and cell repair occur. This is the most effective delivery method for most skin concerns.

Calecim topical application

Applied to the skin as a professional serum, most effectively immediately after microneedling, a chemical peel or another procedure that has opened the skin's surface. In this context, Calecim speeds recovery, calms the skin and reinforces the results of the treatment you have just had.

What Calecim addresses

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference. Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available. I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to others and whilst I can only comment on the treatments I have received to date I will be availing myself of some of the others services offered.

I am so glad I visited the Changes Clinic today for an upper abdominal ultrasound. I was a nervous wreck as I have a bit of a phobia of scans & Andrea was just brilliant with me. Is Calecim the same as PRP?

No, though both use biological repair mechanisms. Calecim uses proteins derived from stem cells. PRP uses growth factors from your own blood plasma. They can be used together for a more intensive response, or separately. We will discuss the right approach at your consultation.

How many sessions do I need?

A single session produces visible improvement. A course of three to four sessions spaced three to four weeks apart produces the clearest and most lasting results. We advise on this based on your skin and your goals.

Is there any downtime?

Very little. The skin may be pink for a few hours after treatment, particularly when combined with microneedling. Most clients return to normal activity the same day.

What makes Calecim different from standard skincare?

The concentration of growth factors and exosomes in Calecim is far higher than anything available in retail skincare. It also uses stem cell-derived proteins rather than synthetic substitutes.
