Lumi Eyes Portsmouth
The under-eye area shows age faster than almost anywhere else on the face — and it doesn't always respond to standard skincare. Dark circles, hollowness, fine lines and crepey skin around the eyes can be structural problems that sit too deep for creams and too delicate for some clinic treatments.
Lumi Eyes is a polynucleotide-based injectable treatment developed specifically for the periorbital zone. Our qualified, experienced & insured practitioners administer it at our CQC-registered clinic in Cosham, Portsmouth, giving clients from across the South a clinically grounded option for this difficult area.
How Lumi Eyes Works
This is not a volumising treatment. Lumi Eyes works by rebuilding the quality and resilience of periorbital skin from within — improving tone, hydration, fine lines and the overall condition of an area that ages early and recovers slowly.
Because the mechanism is cellular repair rather than physical volume replacement, results develop progressively as the skin responds. Most clients notice the greatest improvement two to four weeks after their second session.
What Lumi Eyes Treats
- Dark circles — particularly those caused by skin thinning and poor circulation in the area rather than bone structure - Fine lines and crepey texture — the thin, papery quality that develops under and around the eyes - Hollowness — mild volume loss and shadowing in the tear trough region - Overall skin quality — dull, dehydrated or damaged periorbital skin that makes the eyes look tired regardless of how you feel
Lumi Eyes works well as a standalone treatment and pairs effectively with treatments like skin boosters or RF microneedling as part of a broader rejuvenation plan.
What to Expect
Sessions and Timeline
We administer Lumi Eyes as a course of two sessions spaced four weeks apart. This spacing gives your skin time to respond to the first treatment before we build on it with the second. Most clients see initial improvement within two weeks of their first session. Results continue to develop after the second session, typically reaching their peak around four to six weeks later. Results last six to twelve months, after which a maintenance session can sustain them.
The Treatment Itself
Each session takes approximately 30 minutes. Our qualified, experienced & insured practitioners use fine needles to administer the polynucleotide solution at multiple points around the eye area. We apply topical anaesthetic beforehand to keep the experience comfortable.
Downtime
Downtime is minimal. You may have some redness, minor swelling or small raised areas at the injection sites immediately after treatment — these typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Some clients have light bruising, which fades within a few days. Most clients return to their normal routine the same day or the day after.
