I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference. Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available. I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to others and whilst I can only comment on the treatments I have received to date I will be availing myself of some of the others services offered.

I am so glad I visited the Changes Clinic today for an upper abdominal ultrasound. I was a nervous wreck as I have a bit of a phobia of scans & Andrea was just brilliant with me. What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are naturally derived biopolymers, usually sourced from salmon or trout DNA, that have been highly purified for medical use. When injected, they stimulate skin cell repair, boost collagen and improve hydration. They are not a filler. They do not add volume but improve the quality of the skin itself.

How do they differ from Profhilo?

Both work to improve skin quality from within, but in different ways. Profhilo uses a high concentration of hyaluronic acid to hydrate and stimulate collagen. Polynucleotides stimulate cellular repair and regeneration. Many clients benefit from both, and we can advise on the best approach at your consultation.

Is there any downtime?

Very little. Some mild redness or small bumps at injection sites are normal and settle within hours. You can return to normal activities immediately.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients have a course of two to three sessions, spaced two to four weeks apart. Maintenance sessions every four to six months help sustain the results.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
