Skintrinsiq is a clinical facial device that combines three steps in one treatment: extraction, infusion and sealing. First, a gentle vacuum lift clears congestion from pores. Then micro-channels are opened in the skin's surface, and clinically proven Obagi medical skincare actives are infused directly into those channels. Finally, the channels close, locking the active ingredients into the skin.

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference. Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. The redness in my face has reduced so much, and even when I do get a flare up, it’s nowhere near as bad as it used to be because the underlying redness has improved so much. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available. I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic to others and whilst I can only comment on the treatments I have received to date I will be availing myself of some of the others services offered.

I am so glad I visited the Changes Clinic today for an upper abdominal ultrasound. I was a nervous wreck as I have a bit of a phobia of scans & Andrea was just brilliant with me. Is Skintrinsiq the same as Hydrafacial?

Both are device-based facial treatments that cleanse and infuse the skin. Skintrinsiq uses Obagi medical-grade actives specifically matched to your skin analysis. Hydrafacial uses its own serum range. If you would like to compare them, we can discuss both at your free consultation and advise which is more appropriate for your skin.

Is there any downtime?

No. Your skin may look slightly flushed for a short time, but you can return to normal activity immediately. Most clients apply makeup the same day.

How often should I have it?

For general skin maintenance, once a month is a good interval. For targeted improvement of a specific concern, a course of three to six sessions spaced two to four weeks apart produces noticeable results.

Will I need to use Obagi products at home?

You do not have to, but using the right Obagi skincare between sessions extends the results and compounds the improvement. We will advise on the most relevant products at your consultation.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The actives used in your treatment are selected based on your skin analysis, so the protocol can be adjusted to suit sensitive skin. We will assess this before treatment.

Can I combine Skintrinsiq with other treatments?

Yes. Skintrinsiq Portsmouth works well alongside microneedling as a lighter maintenance treatment between sessions, or as a standalone option for clients who want results with no downtime.
