Abdominal and Pelvic Scans

These scans cover the organs most commonly at the centre of unexplained symptoms — pain, bloating, changes in urinary function, or concerns about pelvic health. All scans are performed by an HCPC-registered sonographer using diagnostic-grade equipment. - Abdominal Ultrasound Examines the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, spleen and kidneys. - Pelvic Ultrasound (transabdominal or transvaginal) Assesses the uterus, ovaries, endometrium and surrounding pelvic structures. - Combined Abdominal and Pelvic Ultrasound A comprehensive scan of both regions in a single appointment. - Kidneys and Urinary Tract Focused assessment of the kidneys, ureters and bladder. - Testicular Ultrasound Detailed imaging of testicular tissue and surrounding structures. - Aortic Screening Checks for abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), particularly recommended for men over 65.

Fertility Scans

These scans support patients at the start of their fertility investigation or during treatment cycles. Results are available to share directly with your fertility clinic or consultant. - Fertility Baseline Scan Assesses ovarian reserve, uterine structure, endometrial lining and antral follicle count (AFC). - Follicle Tracking Monitors follicle development during a natural or stimulated cycle.

Wellness Ultrasound Packages

Your appointment begins with a short consultation so Andrea can understand your symptoms and confirm which scan is right for you. The scan itself is conducted in a private, comfortable room using professional diagnostic equipment. Most scans take between 15 and 30 minutes.

After your scan, Andrea compiles a detailed written report covering her findings. That report reaches you within 24 hours, written in clear language you can read yourself and share directly with any doctor, consultant or fertility specialist you are working with.

Andrea Drackett MSc is an HCPC-registered diagnostic sonographer with more than 20 years of NHS experience across abdominal, pelvic and fertility imaging. She trained within NHS specialist departments and brings that same clinical standard to every private scan she carries out. Scans are carried out at Changes Clinic, 1000 Lakeside, Cosham, Portsmouth.

I’ve suffered with rosacea for several years and have tried all sorts of creams, skincare routines and products, but nothing really made a lasting difference. Looking after my skin and being mindful of my diet definitely helps to keep it under control, but IPL at Changes Clinic has made the biggest difference by far. The redness in my face has reduced so much, and even when I do get a flare up, it’s nowhere near as bad as it used to be because the underlying redness has improved so much. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great staff. My lazer hair removal was undertaken by two very capable proffessional young women Kelly and Surmaiyah. Both demonstrate constant care and ensure this not always comfortable experience is as pleasant as possible. The facility is immaculately clean and there is excellent visitor free parking available.
